Hello I’m Emma and I offer both short-term and long-term counselling to adults. My approach is to treat you as an unique individual, tailoring your therapy to what you need, whether that be purely talking or bringing in more practical/CBT techniques. 

 

I am not a counsellor who only nods and listens. I offer honest reflection and gentle challenge, when appropriate. I consider that this enables us to develop a trusting, open and collaborative relationship. I am genuinely interested in people and their stories. I will give you my undivided attention and compassion.

 

I work with a wide range of issues, including but not limited to bereavement/loss, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem/self-confidence, boundaries, baby loss/infertility/miscarriage, relationship/family issues, work stress and ADHD coping mechanisms.

I provide face-to-face sessions from my lovely therapy room in Teddington. In addition, I offer on-line sessions so I can work with you from wherever you are in the UK. My therapy room is a 10 minute walk from Teddington and Fulwell train stations. It is served by a number of major bus routes (33, 281, 285, 481) and has free on-street parking.
